Identify a nozzle system before buying a replacement

Nozzle diameter does not identify the physical interface. Confirm the thread, sealing geometry, length, and whether a complete hotend or an adapter is required.

Before you rely on a result

A documented product or fit statement is only as specific as its source. Match the exact model, installed hotend, revision, and required adapter before acting.

Match the interface

A V6-compatible nozzle, a Revo nozzle, a Prusa Nextruder nozzle, and a proprietary quick-swap unit can all have a 0.4 mm orifice. Their orifice size does not make them mechanically interchangeable.

Check adapter paths

Prusa documents a Nextruder V6 Nozzle Adapter for using V6-compatible nozzles on named Nextruder printers. The adapter is an extra required part; the V6 nozzle is not a direct substitute in an unmodified Nextruder.

Check the whole assembly

A bare hotend may need the correct heater, thermistor, fan, and series-specific electrical parts. Use the exact part number and the maker’s installation procedure before ordering or powering the printer.

Prusa’s official Nextruder V6 adapter guide lists compatible printer families and installation steps.

Find the exact record

Browse printer models, filament products, and nozzle products, then check the scoped relation and linked manufacturer source.
