The current hotend matters more than the printer’s stock name when selecting a replacement nozzle.
Before you rely on a result
A documented product or fit statement is only as specific as its source. Match the exact model, installed hotend, revision, and required adapter before acting.
Power down safely
Follow the printer maker’s shutdown and cool-down procedure before inspecting the toolhead. Hot blocks and heaters can remain dangerous after printing. Do not disassemble an electrical assembly merely to identify it.
Look for identifying features
Compare the heater block, nozzle interface, connector arrangement, and any printed part number to the manufacturer’s replacement guide. Photograph the installed assembly and its cable connection for your own reference.
Separate stock and upgrade paths
A FlowTech, Revo, Unicorn, or other upgrade may change the nozzle path without changing the printer model name. Use the checker’s installed hotend field and open the exact source. If you cannot identify the assembly, treat the nozzle relationship as unverified.
Find the exact record
Browse printer models, filament products, and nozzle products, then check the scoped relation and linked manufacturer source.
